Squash is a 6 year old Alaskan husky who is the foundation of the Mush Puppies. Originally meant to be one of a one-dog skijoring team, this fun-loving goofball needed a little bit of help from Maisy to keep on task and learn the ropes while he was maturing and growing focus and a work ethic. Over the 2013-2014 season, he noticeably matured physically and mentally and is settling well into the sport. Squash is our physical powerhouse and in a larger team he would probably be better suited to the wheel position, but he does his best fitting into being co-leader of a two-dog team.
When not mushing, Squash enjoys everyone and everything about life but especially loves chewing, barking, tricks training, free play in the backyard, general mayhem and goofing around. He also dabbles in Rally Obedience (earning his RN in February of 2013, his WCRL RL1 in July 2016, and his WCRL RL2 in April 2017), nosework, agility, tracking, and has earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title. He adores his little big sister and teammate Maisy, and is rarely far from her.
